If you are someone who likes playing around with tools then you’ll appreciate the good list of keyword tools provided by webdistortion.com under 10+ SEO keyword tools you cant live without.
For me these type of tools come well into play before even starting a new site, they provide a better idea on what words we should be covering within a site.

Unfortunately I would not know what software to recommend as I don’t do article submissions, well in the past 2 years. I prefer to keep the content for my own site.

Cheers for the link. I personally use Wordze and couldn’t be happier with it. I didn’t even know msn had one out, looks quite good

@ Mick, take a look at the link posted by James for the article tool review, you might find what you need.
@ Keith, the MSN tool looks good, I’ve been tinkering with it for a while.
@ James, you’ve hit Akismet…I’ll keep my eyes peeled for ya. Thanks for the link to Bluehat SEO, good resource.

Thanks for these. BTW, do you know any good domain tools for checking age, owner, backlinks, pr for domain?

Google Adwords is my personal favorite. Wordtracker is cool, but since all the search results are an estimate, it’s kind of difficult to justify spending $59 a month on it unless you use it daily. You can also use Google Adwords to come up with keyword ideas when you’re creating your ad and it scans your destination url.
I didn’t even know MSN made one.
